Ottawa Residential & Condo Price Trends - November 2022 to December 2022

As you see below, the average sale prices of residential properties in 6 out of 10 districts in Ottawa have decreased while the average sale prices of condos have increased in 6 out of 10 districts. These trends may indicate that buyers, especially first-time home buyers, looked for homes they can realistically afford due to rising cost of living from inflation and increasing mortgage rates. As well, real estate investors who looked for properties that offer value in generating positive cash-flow and appreciation.
